South Walton’s 2013 Artist of the Year Andy Saczynski is best known for his mixed media assemblage art. His style includes characteristics of cubism, folk art, and outsider art. He primarily works with house paint, found objects, recycled musical instruments, reclaimed wood, and repurposed materials. He loves the process of giving new life and purpose to broken, unwanted, and discarded objects. He finds his inspiration from surfing, music, Florida's coastal landscape, and wildlife.
