The Dog Wall
Jim and Peggy Poteet, the original developers and owners of Shops of Grayton, got the idea for a dog wall from one that existed by The Red Bar back in the late 1990s (read the story). If you have visited Shops of Grayton, you surely noticed “The New Dogs of Grayton” mural on the back fence of our parking lot. These are dogs who once called Grayton Beach home. Over the years, the mural has deteriorated. We are currently researching a safe way to restore it. Until then, be sure to get your photo with this piece of local history!
